Our Posada is located at the confluence of the Duero and Huebra rivers, in the heart of the Arribes del Duero Natural Park, a Biosphere Reserve, an area with a Mediterranean microclimate where orange, almond, and olive trees, as well as vineyards, are cultivated. The Posada has spectacular views over the Duero and neighboring Portugal, which is accessed via the Saucelle dam, located 2 km away.
A small and welcoming establishment, it is a typical construction of the region, perfectly integrated into its natural environment and equipped to offer pleasant stays at any time of the year. Its decoration is dominated by restored antique furniture and various utensils that were formerly used in the daily life of the region’s villages.
Comfortable accommodation with a swimming pool, outdoor jacuzzi, and paddle tennis court surrounded by different garden areas in the shade of the trees where you can enjoy the calm and the landscape.
Inside, a library and common rooms with a fireplace and views of the Duero allow for complete relaxation.
We have 8 double rooms, one family room, and one suite, all with a terrace with views.
In our panoramic restaurant, for the exclusive use of hotel guests, breakfasts and dinners are served, prioritizing the use of local raw materials, including those obtained from the Posada’s own garden.

At the Posada, you can enjoy a swimming pool and an outdoor jacuzzi with views of the Duero and surrounded by a spectacular Arribes landscape. We have a large lawn area, a table area under a kiwi vine pergola, and several corners surrounded by nature and tranquility.
We complete the offer with a paddle tennis court perfectly integrated into the landscape, also surrounded by corners for relaxation

The Posada is located within the Arribes del Duero designation of origin area, and from all its facilities, you can contemplate the beautiful spectacle of the Portuguese vineyards belonging to the DO Vinho do Douro Superior. Both in the Spanish and Portuguese areas, you can visit wineries of these two designations.

- Aceñas Route: This interesting route begins 300 m from our Posada and runs for 4 km along a path surrounded by rockrose, broom, almond trees, olive trees, turpentine trees, jumbrios, vineyards, etc. We will skirt “the Head of San Pedro” ancient Vettón settlement, and we will cross streams until we meet the Duero River and its “aceñas”. We continue parallel to the Duero until we discover the constructions of an old mill, with its cereal warehouses and seasonal housing for the millers. Following the route, we enjoy the spectacle offered by the vineyards cultivated in “terraces” by our Portuguese neighbors until we connect with the ascent to the “Peña de la Vela”.

Charming hotel, the location is perfect, you have incredible views, the common areas and the hotel dining room are decorated in a very original way. I recommend staying for dinner at night, we were pleasantly surprised with the dishes they prepared for us. The staff, very friendly, helped us with all the issues we raised, the truth is that the stay was very good thanks to them. Recommended for spending one or two nights.

If you are looking to disconnect in the middle of nature and surrounded by impressive landscapes, this is your place. The Posada is a beautiful house, decorated with care and exquisite taste where everything invites calm and relaxation. The views from any point of the house take your breath away and any corner of the facilities is an invitation to stay and enjoy. The breakfasts are a separate point: original, abundant, with homemade products. For me, the perfect place from which to explore Arribes, enjoy the villages of the region.

The rooms are pleasant and comfortable, but the best are the common areas, decorated with care and almost an ethnographic museum, full of old objects of common use, as well as the garden (we did not enjoy the pool, as it was not the season, but it looks very pleasant). The location is fantastic, with a wonderful natural environment, next to the mouth of a tributary of the Duero, but with easy access, next to the road, which is not heard due to the low traffic. We loved the views through the large windows of the dining room, which made our meals even more pleasant. Because that is another strong point. Breakfast is very abundant and different every day, with rich homemade products. There is not much restaurant offer in the area, so it was great for us that the Posada offers dinners. It is a closed menu, different every day, with two starters to share, a main course and a dessert. Everything very well cooked and plated with grace. And, finally, how not to mention the attention of Manuel, affable and professional at the same time, to round out the experience. Highly recommended

The location is great next to the river. The rooms are large, very clean and with impressive views. The owner is very friendly and with a family treatment, he made us a map to go see the most important and great. His wife is the cook and has a very good hand with the food.
