Posada LOS CINCO LINAJES is located in the historical center of Arévalo, in a manor house whose foundations date back to the 13th century.
Today, after careful restoration, it is a charming and comfortable hotel to spend a few days and get to know the town of Arévalo, its History and traditions, and especially its GASTRONOMY.
The roasted suckling pig, known in our land as Tostón, is the star dish of Arévalo. Exquisite for its quality and centuries-old preparation. A delicacy, even more so if enjoyed with the vegetables of La Moraña and the wines of the land.
As complementary activities, it is advisable to visit the towns of Madrigal de las Altas Torres and Medina del Campo, birthplace and burial place of Isabel I of Castile. And thanks to the excellent location of Arévalo (just 1 hour by car), it is possible to visit the World Heritage Cities: Avila and Segovia, and Salamanca.
Los Cinco Linajes won the award for “best rural hotel” in 2017, awarded by the Ávila Provincial Council.

Architectural Heritage, Legacy and Handover
Los Cinco Linajes is a hotel that was conceived in view of the beauty of the rooms of the house that had remained closed for 50 years. And the illusion of making it known, and providing a new use for the enjoyment of the inhabitants of Arévalo and their guests and visitors.
In a corner of the glazed patio, a cardboard horse proudly shines, a gift from the Kings almost a century ago, placed in the corner viewpoint and with affection for who was the previous owner of this house.
The careful architectural rehabilitation recovered and enhanced, with modern touches and providing contemporary comfort, the different spaces: restaurant cellar with medieval walls, patio with Renaissance columns, rooms profusely decorated by the local artist Pedro Donis in the mid-twentieth century.
The 14 rooms are complemented by a lively cafeteria and its terrace overlooking the tower of Santo Domingo, listening to the croaking of its storks.
It also has a restaurant and multipurpose room for holding banquets and business meetings.

Enjoy the star dish of Arévalo in the establishment’s cellar: roasted suckling pig (product available by reservation)
We have a menu of portions during dinner hours; terrace service in summer.
The cafeteria is open to the public from early morning, and it is possible to have breakfast in the bar or on the terrace; and taste the buffet products in the patio, with freshly squeezed natural juice, and coffees or infusions prepared and served from the cafeteria.
*We have a daily menu, only at lunchtime.

Get to know Arévalo, its museums, churches, square and CASTLE. The walk along the channel of the rivers that surround the town is recommended: Adaja and Arevalillo, “River walk”.
And a visit to the Museum of Roman Villas of Almenara-Puras (25 km away) and the Mudéjar Theme Park of Olmedo (30 km away, in the same direction) is recommended.
The visit of the castles of the Segovian towns Coca and Cuéllar (25 and 50 km away respectively) is also very interesting with children.
MICE Tourism
We have the ADAJA room available, with projector and screen, and set up for the occasion (lecture conference, work table, etc.) for half a day or a full day.

Tapas competitions organized by the City Council: Award for the Best Tapa in the Competition held in December 2024 on the occasion of the 550th anniversary of the Proclamation of Queen Isabel I of Castile.
First fortnight of July, on the occasion of the Arévalo fairs and due to its location in the center of town, incessant festive activity, linked to bulls and festivals.
